LEIA, the BizOps GenAI layer, has earned significant recognition across Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology, with multiple VPs and SVPs actively supporting and promoting it as the most robust AI solution in the organization. The team delivered several high-impact agents, including DevBase LEIA, which was prominently featured at the DEEP&T Town Hall, sharing the stage alongside major initiatives such as the ESPN Direct-to-Consumer launch and the new Disney+ homepage with its consolidated catalog (Hulu, ESPN, ABC News, National Geographic, and more).

 

While these projects required hundreds of engineers, LEIA was built by a small, highly skilled team of just six engineers. Notably, LEIA was the only AI solution showcased at the Town Hall, despite the presence of other AI agents within the organization. This is a testament to its strategic importance and differentiation.
